Parents of Children With Special Needs - an ongoing support group providing emotional support to the parents and caregivers of children with behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and physical challenges
The Webutuck Parents Support Group will meet weekly on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8pm, facilitated by Lauren Astor MA Ed. In this small group setting, we will develop strategies and learn specific techniques that will help you be a more effective parent, create more peace in your home, and gain clarity, comfort and confidence. We will address issues as they come up, tell our stories, ask our questions, wonder, complain, make decisions, brag, explore our issues, make changes, let go, and share our successes and celebrations. We will support each other, learn from each other, laugh together, and remember that we are not alone with our challenges. Call Sara for information.

"Energizing Success" a one-day workshop led by Jeremy LeBlanc, certified coach.
Saturday March 13, 9am-2:30pm.
"Energizing Success" is a seminar for parents, educators or anyone who works with children and wants to learn to build deeper and more meaningful relationships. The seminar is based on the book "Transforming the Difficult Child: The Nurtured Heart Approach," by Howard Glasser and is presented by Jeremy LeBlanc, certified Nurtured Heart Specialist. The Nurtured Heart Approach is a style of leadership that empowers the child by rewarding them for positive behavior. The seminar provides opportunities to learn how to recognize and verbalize success when we see it, how to address negative behaviors and how to become more firm, fair and consistent with rules. Participants in this seminar will leave with the necessary skills to start developing high impact positive relationships with others.
Fee: $25 per person or $40 per couple. Call NECC to reserve a spot.
