Food Pantry / Despensa de Alimentos
La Despensa de Alimentos del NECC se encuentra en el Centro Comunitario, ubicado en el 51 de South Center St, en Millerton.
La despensa abre los miércoles de 3:00 p. m. a 6:00 p. m. y los jueves de 10:00 a. m. a 1:00 p. m. para atención sin cita previa.
Utilizamos un sistema de «elección del cliente», en el cual usted selecciona los alimentos que mejor satisfacen las necesidades de su hogar. Nos encanta cuando las personas traen sus propias bolsas.
Intentamos ofrecer la mayor cantidad posible de alimentos frescos.
No es necesario solicitar cita previa. En su primera visita, le guiaremos a través de un breve proceso de registro que incluye los nombres y edades de los miembros de su hogar, su código postal de residencia y algunas preguntas sobre los ingresos familiares.
También ofrecemos servicio de entrega a domicilio para aquellos residentes que no pueden salir de casa o que tienen dificultades de transporte.
Cada familia puede usar el servicio dos veces por mes.

The NECC Food Pantry is hosted at the Community Center on 51 South Center St, Millerton.
The pantry is open Wednesdays from 3pm-6pm and Thursdays from 10am-1pm for walk-in service.
We use a “client-choice” system in which you choose the food that meets the needs of your household. We love it when people bring their own bags to shop with and are happy to help carry bags to your car.
We try to offer as much fresh food as possible.
No appointment is needed. We’ll take you through a short registration at your first visit including names and ages of people in your household, zipcode of residence and a few questions about household income.
We also offer home delivery to homebound or transportation limited residents.
Each family can use the food pantry two times per month.

How can I help?
DONATE! Monetary donations go the farthest. With your gift, NECC is able to purchase food in bulk at much better prices than what you see at the grocery store. You can donate online (note: Food Access) or mail a check to NECC, PO Box 35, Millerton, NY 12546. For information on how to make other types of donations, email us.
We also accept donations of food and other supplies. A list of the most needed items follows. To arrange to drop-off items, please email us.

Help unload a truck! We receive thousands of pounds of food on Mondays! If you are willing and able to help unload these deliveries, please email us! Volunteers will report to our main office, 51 S. Center St., Millerton, at 11 am on Mondays.
Volunteer! We need help setting up the pantry, closing the pantry, serving clients in the pantry, as well as drivers for our home delivery service. Sign up to be a volunteer here!
