At NECC we believe in children’s natural curiosity and motivation to learn through play. As such, our after school program focuses on inquiry-based learning and outdoor education. We also have a specific focus on social-emotional learning and implement restorative practices. We believe that humans need to feel connected, autonomous and competent in order for learning to occur. We strive to build an environment where our students have a voice and begin to understand the type of person they want to become.

Our after school program is open to all Webutuck students in PreK through 3rd grade. REGISTER TODAY! Programming includes:

• A nutritious snack

• Inquiry-based learning and outdoor education

• Social and emotional development through the use of restorative practices and democratic decision making

• Literacy and STEAM activities through the lens of inquiry

• Expressive arts activities

• Cooperative games and play
