Those of us here in Northeastern Dutchess County are living in a land of five deserts: Food, Transportation, Mental health, Child Care, and Housing. Thank you for helping North East Community Center address all five of these desert issues.
Your gift will help seniors and others access transportation to necessary medical appointments as well as out-of-town grocery stores. You will help feed your neighbors through a twice-monthly food and supply pantry. You will provide support to struggling families by helping them access a host of social services. And you will promote leadership opportunities and hands-on job training to young people in high school and beyond so that they can thrive here in North East Dutchess. Your gift has the opportunity to make an impact on hundreds of families in our community.

How Your Gift Makes an Impact:
A gift of $5,000 could fund NECC’s work on a “desert” issue: Food, Transportation, Mental Health, Child Care, and Housing.
A gift of $1,000 could keep a NECC family in their home or keep their electricity on or help sponsor a vehicle for the NECC Transportation Program.
A gift of $500 could help provide culturally relevant staple foods for NECC Food Pantry guests or sponsor an educational workshop or activity for the Teen Team.
A gift of $250 could provide seeds for vegetable production in the Webutuck Community Garden or provide snacks and meals for NECC's Early Learning Program.
A gift of $125 could fund a Teen Team experience or provide necessary resources for Food Pantry guests with babies and toddlers.
A gift of $50 could help us distribute fresh nutritious food from the NECC Food Pantry to the low-income households we serve or provide food, transportation, or fees for a Teen Team activity.
