Teen Programs

Connecting teens with educational, employment and career resources that enhance their life skills.

Teen Team

The North East Community Center's Teen Team Youth Leadership Program is a no-cost youth-directed program for high school aged students living in the Webutuck School District. The teens participate in and help plan community service, cultural, educational, and recreational activities throughout the year. The program helps teens gain knowledge, self esteem, and foster their community engagement.

Teen Jobs

Community Partnership with Schools and Businesses, known as CPSB is an internship and work skills training program for students ages 14 through 20. Locally, the program is a partnership among the North East Community Center, the Webutuck School District, and area businesses. Since 2003, CPSB has placed more than 300 students in internships with local employers.

School to Work Apprenticeship Program

The School-to-Work program provides opportunities for students at Webutuck, Dover Plains, Pine Plains, and Millbrook Public Schools to explore career paths upon graduation from high school. By pairing students with local trades during their junior/senior year of high school, students will gain insight into the diversity of career fields while enhancing their life skills.
