Annual School Supply Drive

A curated Amazon Wish List of school supplies. Supplies are distributed to families and directly to students within the NECC’s service area including those in Webutuck, Dover Plains, Pine Plains and Millbrook Central School Districts in time for the start of the school year.

Case Management

Our services meet emergency needs and provide ongoing support. We can assist with food, rent, and utilities. We can help find solutions to much more through advocacy, referrals, and coaching. In partnership with NED Corp 2.0

Income Tax Assistance

for low-income families, students and seniors - dial 2-1-1 to get your taxes done!

• Are you paying a preparer hundreds of dollars to do your taxes?

• Do you think you might not be getting all the credits you should?

• Are you worried that you haven't filed your taxes recently?

• Do you need to file for a tax i.d. number (ITIN?)

If the answer to any of those questions is yes, give us a call - we can prepare your tax returns - even if it's after April 15.

Our volunteer preparers are trained and certified by the IRS - we can do your 1040, file for education, child, earned income and other credits. We'll also do your New York and Connecticut returns, and e-file everything so you'll get your refund quickly.

It's a free service, available to individuals and families whose returns are "in scope" for our volunteers' training. When you call for an appointment, we will ask a few questions to make sure we can help.

Financial/Budgeting

We can help provide you with practical money management skills including assistance in creating a household budget, eliminating debt, and an implementing and emergency savings plan.
